HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2020
Two months before I had just met Tony, the new guitar player and thought he was cute, but was all like... "No, no more musicians!" I stood my ground real well on that, didn't I? 😜
New Year, new DECADE- and I'm starting new habits! The end of 2019 hit me hard out of nowhere! I was doing so well staying positive, writing goals down... and then all of the sudden BAM! All the negative thoughts of "What are doing with your life? You're not good enough. You'll never achieve that! QUIT!" I broke down this past weekend in tears. I could not get a grip. Then Sunday night at dinner after bawling my eyes out, my husband gave me some sound advice: "You gotta SHAKE IT UP!" Being self-employed, I had let myself fall into some horrible habits. Getting up & going downstairs having coffee, and sitting there on the couch on my phone until late in the afternoon. Wanting to work out, errands to run, but letting the day slip away just living life through my phone screen of instastories of other people.... then doing the comparing game of "I wish I had that..." HORRIBLE!!
Even though we all have different lives, are you guilty of this? Just letting your life pass by bc you're stuck in a bad routine? If you've lost your passion for things you love, uninspired, depressed, just can't find your happy.... then stick with me! We can do this together! I've devised a plan I'm going to stick to, maybe you want to try this too? Or depending on your schedule, create a similar plan to stick to SHAKE UP your routine and get out of your rut!
