DIY Maternity Shoot
Hey friends!
I cannot believe we're almost there! Little boy is almost here and Tony and I couldn't be more thrilled. Wanted to take the time to do a maternity shoot in case this is the only time God gives me to be pregnant. I prayed and prayed for this experience and I've been SO grateful for it and don't want to forget a single moment of it! Between Covid & being on a budget, I decided Tony and I were going to do our own photos. I've gotten pretty good at this editing thing, and I thought why not? I'll be my most comfortable self with just Tony and I. We have a friend that has this beautiful cabin he built out in Franklin, TN.... so we just called him and asked could we just use the property one evening. I went to Kroger and made my own flower bouquet for about $6, used clothing I already had except for the off-the-shoulder white dress I purchased on Amazon for around $20, and bought the flower crown for about $13 off of amazon as well! All the photos of Tony and I both, we just set up my tripod with my iPhone and the old timer on the camera lol. Tony snapped the ones of me alone by the water.... we had a great time and really worked together to get some good shots I think. I love how they turned out, and loved that there wasn't any pressure. Don't be afraid to try things for yourself! Hope you enjoy our's and get some inspo if you need it!
